  • In the event the league size decreases to an odd amount, a VACANT team will be used.
  • Teams from the waitlist are eligible to fill this VACANT spot at any point.

B. Entering averages - No Maximum Team Average

C. Entering averages for individuals will be based on league average from last season bowled, first from our league, and secondly from the USBC book, limited to 3 years. This average will be used for the first nine games bowled, then actual average and handicap for games bowled will be used. For new bowlers and bowlers who haven’t bowled in the last three years, averages and handicap will be established after the first three games bowled.

D. This is a handicap league. Handicap will be based on 90% of 230.

E. After the season begins and there is an unfilled spot on a team, the open spot may be filled by a sanctioned bowler.

  • There will be no warm-ups for a tardy bowler.

I. Absentee Bowlers:

  • Absentee score will be the current average minus 10 pins.
  • No absentee score may be used more than two weeks in succession. After two weeks, the score will revert back to the vacancy score and notify the treasure.

J. Incomplete Teams:

  • In the event of a bowler shortage, “VACANT” will be entered on the re-cap sheet. A 130-line average will be used with the appropriate handicap (currently 90).

K. Substitutes:

  • A roving sub may be used. No sub may bowl with more than one team for the regularly scheduled games each week. When a sub bowls on a team, the regular bowler will be responsible for the balance owed after the sub fee.

  • Make-up games must be scheduled with the house.

  • All make-up games must be played within two weeks or one full week before the next position week, whichever comes first. Failure to comply with this rule will result in a forfeit.
